Our 2026 programme

We’ll announce the programme for our 2026 Festival on 4 May. As well as the usual 4 concerts over the weekend of 25-27 September, there will be some new and celebratory events in the week leading up to our final weekend.

New Festival recordings

We’re excited to let you know that SOUNZ and RNZ Concert have released recordings from our 2025 and 2023 Festivals: 2 works by Louise Webster, Piwakaka for solo violin and her commissioned piano quartet shifting worlds; and Anthony Ritchie’s Farewell for bassoon and string quartet.
